A car just for you, a driver who knows the city and a route built around what you want to see. No shared van stopping at ten hotels, and no group schedule.
On a private city tour, the car and the driver are yours for the day. We pick you up at your hotel or apartment at the time you choose and follow the route we agreed with you beforehand on WhatsApp. If you want to stay longer somewhere, or skip a stop, just tell the driver.
The difference from a group tour is obvious from the start. Shared tours collect passengers from many hotels and give everyone the same amount of time at each stop. Here nobody waits for anybody. You leave when you are ready, eat where you like and head back when you have had enough.
The price is agreed before the tour, based on the route and the hours you need, so there are no surprises at the end of the day.
This is the route we recommend most often for travellers with one full day in Foz. It catches each attraction at its best time and avoids crossing the city back and forth:
Prefer a slower pace? We drop the bird park or Itaipu and add the Buddhist Temple, which suits travellers looking for somewhere peaceful.
We plan the order by location. The falls and the bird park are on the road to the airport. Itaipu and the Buddhist Temple are north of the city, and the Triple Frontier Landmark is close to downtown.
Half day (about four to five hours) works well if you arrive in the afternoon, have already seen the falls on another day, or just want the city highlights. A popular combination is the Buddhist Temple, the Mosque and the Triple Frontier Landmark at sunset.
Full day is ideal if you are short on time and want to see the falls and Itaipu on the same day. It means an early start, but saves you a second morning of driving.
Staying three days or more? It may be better to split things up: one day for the Argentine side of the falls, which needs four to six hours in the park, and another for the city tour in Brazil. Our private driver service can cover your whole stay.
The tour is done in an executive car with air conditioning: a sedan or SUV for up to four people, or a 7-seat vehicle for larger families, so nobody has to split into two cars.
Travelling with small children? Tell us when you book and we will arrange a child seat. For older travellers or anyone with reduced mobility, the driver drops off and picks up as close to each entrance as possible, which makes a real difference at large sites like Itaipu and the national park.
Shopping bags and backpacks stay in the car while you explore.
