Private Transfer to Parque das Aves

Take the family to the bird park without worrying about parking, buses or how to get back. We pick you up at your hotel, wait during the visit and drive you home.

What is Parque das Aves

Parque das Aves is one of the most visited attractions in Foz do Iguaçu. It sits on the road to the falls, right opposite the entrance to the Iguaçu National Park, and focuses on bird conservation, especially species from the Atlantic Forest, many of them endangered.

The visit follows a paved trail of about 2 km through the forest and into large walk-through aviaries. In several of them you share the space with the birds: toucans, macaws and parrots fly just a few metres from you.

It is a hit with adults and children alike, and one of the best places in Brazil to photograph birds up close without a professional lens.

How the transfer works

We agree the pick-up time with you on WhatsApp. The driver arrives a few minutes early, takes your group to the park entrance and waits for the whole visit. When you are done, send a message and the car will be at the exit.

You do not need to find parking, squeeze onto a crowded bus on the highway or rely on ride-hailing apps, which do not always have cars available near the park late in the afternoon.

The price is agreed before the trip and includes the waiting time.

Staying in Puerto Iguazú, on the Argentine side? We can pick you up there too and handle the border crossing, as long as everyone in the group has their passport with them.

Bird park and Iguazu Falls on the same day

Because the two are directly opposite each other, most people visit the bird park together with the Brazilian side of the falls. It is the smartest use of the drive, since you only travel to that area once.

We recommend the falls first, in the morning, when the national park is quieter and the light on the water is at its best. After lunch, we cross the road to Parque das Aves, where the shaded trail is pleasant even in the hottest hours.

Allow five to six hours for this combination, including both attractions and a lunch break. To extend the day, you can add the Triple Frontier Landmark at sunset.

Opening hours and visit length

Parque das Aves usually opens every day from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Hours sometimes change in the high season and on public holidays, so check the official website before your visit. You can enter until closing time, but arriving late leaves little time for the trail.

To walk at a relaxed pace, stop at the aviaries and take photos, allow at least an hour and a half to two hours. Families with small children and keen photographers usually stay longer.

From November to March, early morning and late afternoon are the most comfortable times, and the birds tend to be more active then.

Accessibility and visiting with children

The trail is paved and accessible, which makes the visit easy for wheelchair users, older travellers and families with pushchairs. There are rest points and covered areas along the way.

The driver drops you off and picks you up right at the entrance. If someone in your group uses a folding wheelchair, let us know when booking so we choose a car with enough boot space.

For children, we can arrange a child seat. Just tell us their age and weight when you book.

Tickets and what to bring

Tickets are sold on the park's official website and at the ticket office. Buying online avoids queues, especially in July and during the summer holidays. We do not sell tickets; we take care of the transport.
